Club News:

  The last major event of the 2007 season took place at the Clubhouse on the last Saturday of September. The annual Seniors Dinner and Presentation evening was, as usual, a great success. Thanks for their stirling efforts must go to, Tipper Witts for preparing the room and the gazebo, Phil Rothwell for working the bar and Colin and Penny from the Stags Head for their most excellent buffet. An interesting new addition this year was an exhibition of photographs by Jerry Pittam of this season first and second eleven's home matches, showing some of the leading lights of both teams in action.

  When it came to the Presentations, our esteemed Chairman, Leo Matjaszek handled the whole affair with his usual aplomb and all the award winners went home clutching their well justified awards.

  In the slideshow on the right you can see a selection of photographs from the evening, sadly un-captioned due to the fact that that your reporter was somewhat inebriated and forgot to take notes of who won what and what for, however I do hope they bring back some happy memories to all involved.
